    My family and I arrived at 5:25 for a 5:30 reservation. We didn’t get our table till after 5:50. We placed our order fairly quickly since we’ve already waited close to 30 minutes for our table and it took them over 40 minutes to get the food to us. We didn’t start eating till about 6:40. This was not good especially when you have small kids. We didn’t even get an apology from the manager. It was a slap in the face and it felt like the smith couldn’t be bothered by us.

    Seated 30 minutes after reservation time after being told “10 more minutes” and then “2 more minutes” a few times. Very small portions and extremely over salted. Salmon tartare had gone bad.

    Been there many times..busy night What was a little odd was that we not offered any specials and the menu we received was somewhat abridged as the table next to us received the more expanded menu. Overall would certainly return

    The French steak sandwich was delicious. My husband had the Smith burger rare and it was rare. Appetizers : shishito peppers and fried calamari were excellent.

    Incredible experience from start to finish! We came on a busy Saturday morning with two small children before the Nutcracker and were seated immediately. Our server was friendly, efficient, and got our food out quickly, knowing we were on a time crunch. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and family-friendly. Can’t wait to return!

    The Smith is a soild chain in New York. maybe the most middlebrow, middle class and centrist choice in town, and that's only a good thing. It's reliable. Has great cocktails. Great fries. And great service.

    We were sat 10 minutes after our reservation as we watched other 2 tops walk in and get sat immediately, then you had to physically move the tables to get to the seats. Portions were small for a $40 pasta with hardly any meat. Service was ok once you got done with the host stand ignoring you, but the waiter was never around. Way too loud to even hear the waiter or the person sitting across from you. We didn’t even know we were supposed to get sliced bread until it came out with our entrees as the people who were just sat were greeted with it. Not worth the wait or the money.

    This location is always busy so that’s no excuse. Food was not cooked to correct temperature and was served luke warm. My drink came halfway through my eating my entree. Overall could’ve been better.

    Found this restaurant from previous reviews and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing, the service was great and will definitely return again when visiting Lincoln center.
