Very avg experience. It’s not the James Beard chef any longer. Just avg food and they are out of stock of multiple things on bar and food menu. Would not recommend

The only thing I don’t like about this place is that it’s not open every day! Now that I’ve eaten there twice, once in March ‘24 and recently in December ‘24 with both occasions being such delightful and satisfying dining experiences. Most everything served is from local sources and seasonal changes to the menu bring about interesting options and flavors. The menu is not a vast selection, but there’s some thing that sure would please every palate, made with care and expertise in their kitchen. The drink menu offered limited selection of libations, which were smooth and delicious. A nice wine selection too, though not diverse, but a nice selection to accompany the menu. I will definitely dine at The Table at Junipine whenever my future visits to Oak Creek Canyon coordinate with their limited schedule because this is an all-around example of less is more.

We were looking to have an elevated dining experience, but unfortunately we were disappointed. The dishes were bland and unimaginative, and certainly not worth the price we paid. This restaurant won a James Beard nomination last year but the chefs who earned that nomination left shortly afterwards (August 2023). The quality is not the same. The hummus plate was notably bad due to the hummus being very cold, which conflicted with the grilled naan. The accompanying grilled carrots, brussel sprouts and asparagus also being served quite cold. And all the veggies were drizzled with the same sauce, which blanketed the taste of the veggies. The risotto dish needed seasoning. The crusted lamb loin was fine, especially with the roasted potatoes. I will say that the service was excellent and kind. The atmosphere in the dining room was warm and cozy with a fireplace in the middle. I only wish the kitchen held up their end of the bargain.

Always good, but I liked better the previous menu, that was locally inspired, with Arizona grown grains and vegetable, instead of the French / Italian inspired menu we had this time, even if is was still very good.

The Table at Junipine resort is at least a 10–15 minute drive north of Sedona, and the food was great, but the service was mediocre. To make that drive to this out-of-the-way restaurant, the service needs to be improved. Our party of four received very slow service throughout the evening, and the dessert was even more delayed because the server said the dessert ticket was lost. The service was by Layla and she did not help this restaurant’s cause. The food was excellent quality as the hamburger was described as delicious. Two of us enjoyed the mushroom risotto as it was superb. The scallops were delicious, but the cost was $50, so that was $10 per scallop, which seems excessive. As I said, the food quality was excellent, but it is not worth this drive to have such poor service. I could not recommend this restaurant in good conscience based upon this one meal.

Very disappointed with dinner. We’ve been for lunch and always like it, but dinner was disappointing. Overcooked steak, flavorless risotto. Burger and fries still good, will go back for lunch

I come here every year and usually we have an amazing experience. Unfortunately this was not the best time and the food was sub par. The heaters weren’t working outside so we sat inside, but the lighting inside was super bright for a 6pm dinner. They had these odd bright LED lights inside. The food was not great. They had a new chef, not the usual one that makes the menu. Sadly, the risotto was not fully cooked and had an odd flavor. The dessert was good. I don’t think we will be coming back for a while. It seems it had lacked its luster this time around.

Great restaurant and staff. It was near the end of their busy season, so they were out of some tap beer, but overall a great experience.
