I recently visited for an afternoon tea, and while there were some highlights, there were also a few disappointments. The scones were absolutely excellent—fluffy, buttery, and well baked, easily the best part of the experience. The sandwiches, however, were lackluster. The brisket croissant stood out as the exception, but the rest didn’t leave much of an impression. The petit fours were another letdown, as they were excessively sweet, even for someone with a strong sweet tooth. Overall, the experience had its moments, but it didn’t quite live up to expectations.

Wonderful experience. The staff were accommodating to food allergies and request to change tables. Nice time. Would return for a cocktail and live music at the hotel bar.

High Tea: The tea was amazing and great selection. Service was excellent. Food not so much. Bread was stale, we laughed as we didn’t get any roast beef in the roast beef croissant, scones were meh. Desserts were very good. Everything but the food was wonderful.
