   The staff were very friendly and the ambiance was relaxing. The food was over priced for the quality provided. I have eaten at many coastal restaurants across California and this was subpar at best and a tad disappointing. We will not be eating there again.

   Came here because we were staying at the resort and it did not disappoint! We had the crabcake which was a very good size for two people to share. My husband had the salmon and I had a mushroom risotto cod that were both very good. We both said our fish could’ve been cooked about a minute less but overall the dishes were tasty. I had a vodka basil cocktail, which was delicious. Would definitely come here again and recommend it. It’s not going to blow you away, but it’s definitely good food with a great atmosphere being on the bay.

   My family and I had the best experience at Tidal. What a cute, quaint and peaceful Christmas Buffett dinner. The staff were very attentive and kind. They took the time to talk to us and despite it being a Buffett they offered to get us food items. We were there for almost 3 hours and it sure did not feel like it. The food was amazing, great seafood and even picky eaters were thrilled with the options. We sat outside at sunset taking in the beautiful views. Bartender even created a special drink for me. I try to take my dad to a new Christmas Buffett dinner every year ( we are local) we’ve been to about 10 different places, and the tidal hands down was bar far the best experience we’ve had. I will 100 percent go back.

   Staff was excellent! Our server Caitlin was a gem, she was so kind and attentive to us. We give her a A+++++ all the way. She made our night!

   Food was outstanding. Experienced the Iberico pork. Started with the venison tartar which was very delicate and mild, not gamy at all. The baba ghanoush and pork belly were also amazing. One of our guests had a flatbread which was a classic well made neapolitan pizza. Bronzino was also well prepared and flavorful. Pumpkin soufflé had a great texture but I think would be better with less clove, but fantastic and well made. Noise level was bit loud but we managed. Thanks for a great experience Herd & Wood!

   Location…great. We love the spot Service bad..observed 2 other servers doing a great job Food …crab cake app good / bread app great Scallops… fair. Ahi…fair Cauliflower with Ahi… undercooked/ tuff / flavor zero. Value…. Scallops. 3 with a couple springs of veg… poor/ Ahi sauce on top good But the rest of plate very weak Overall… very disappointed Won’t be back until major changes

    Beautiful location right on the side of Mission Bay in the setting sun. We took our powerboat here, launched from De Anza and motored round to the restaurant and moored against the Action Sports pier. Had a lovely dinner and then headed back in the dark. Great date night!
