What a lovely space and amazing view from all around the place. It’s really a must visit location. We enjoyed the ahi tuna poke and the asparagus flatbread with some nice sparkling wine. I have enjoyed their cocktails in the past as well. Don’t expect a bargain, but remember that you are paying for great service and the amazing views.

What a special way to end the year! The service was excellent. My non-alcoholic drink was delicious as were our appetizers. Dress up and enjoy this San Francisco landmark!

Its not what it used to be. Too loud, too run down, just a tourist trap now with no unique quality. Great views but that’s it.

Not as good as we expected and remembered. Patrons not dressed up as much. Great views, of course, but nothing special. All and all, it was OK but still disappointing.

The Magic Tea Party is a wonderful experience in general and a family tradition for many years now. It's fun getting dressed up for a special holiday experience with younger ones...beautiful views. The food is NOT the star. Reasonable selection of choices, nothing is remotely warm. My ten year old expressed that both her mac'n'cheese and chicken strips were cold. We have previously always attended before Christmas. This year we visited the Saturday following. There was no Christmas/Holiday music...lots of Taylor Swift instead. My daughter loves Swift but we missed the magic of the holiday vibes. The face painter was kind, not as efficient or in character as the previous artist. Very much missed the creativity of the previous balloon artist. The Grinch was a nice new touch! Our server was much more attentive to the table next to us. We very much enjoyed our time together at the Magic Tea Party. There is significant room for improvement.

We thought it was okay for a 'one off" Christmas experience in San Francisco but believe it was overly subscribed and too busy. To include Turkey would be nice next year with Christmas Pudding...

We have been enjoying Christmas Brunch at the Top of the Mark for over 25 years. This year was the best organized and the "people flow" was so much better. Excellent food and the lovely young woman who made my yummy omelet was so professional and crisp and fun to watch. I understand that the new manager, is Amu" I think is her name, who wore a spectacular magenta dress, kept everything smoothly running and was so gracious. I had the privilege of thanking her personally. Frank was our expert server (he has worked there over 25 years) and he was unruffled and did not miss a beat even when dealing with the crass and rude and snarky pair who sat behind us. THANK YOU Mark Hopkins for making our Christmas, yet again, memorable.

We’ve been coming to Top of the Mark for Christmas Day brunch for the last 15 years, and it has become a cherished tradition for our family. The ambiance is always festive, and the service continues to be exceptional year after year. The staff are attentive, warm, and truly enhance the holiday experience. However, we’ve noticed a gradual decline in food quality over the years, which has been disappointing for such a premium event. The menu used to feel more exciting and well-rounded, but this year, a notable absence was the waffle station. My kids were particularly upset, as it was always a highlight for them. In its place, my 10-year-old discovered the caviar station—and made eight visits! While it’s amusing that they’ve now developed a taste for caviar, the lack of kid-friendly staples like waffles was a letdown. Top of the Mark holds a special place in our hearts, and we hope the team takes this feedback into account. Balancing tradition with high-quality offerings would ensure the brunch continues to be a highlight of the season for families like ours.
