We are a family style Italian Restaurant known for our tasty food, friendly service, lively atmosphere. The restaurant exterior is representative of traditional Italy while our interior greets guests with an antique chest on which to sit on to observe Chef Michele at work.
"Start with the finest and freshest natural ingredients then cook with love, knowledge, and devotion. Serve everyone as if they were the most honored guests ever to come into your home and then you have the recipe for fine food.
With its bring your own wine concept, it's no wonder there's a queue for a table.

Hostess wasn’t very friendly Ambiance was very nice Food was excellent! Very tasty and good size portions! Service was poor after our dinner dishes were cleared. Waiter never came back to ask if we were interested in coffee or dessert. After 35 minutes we decided to get the attention of the staff member clearing other tables. We told them that our waiter never came back to offer us coffee or dessert. There was no apology from any staff member. We asked for check, paid the bill, and left. Very disappointed in the service. Will think twice about returning.

Never disappointed. Always difficult making a choice with so many tasty dishes available. Very accommodating. Excellent service . Always know the dining experience will not be disappointing. Highly recommend Trattoria Mediterranea.

Food was a good as always. The dining room was packed and there were many takeout orders which affected timing but one cannot complain when this seemed to be a glitch hopefully not to be continued. We have usually had good service. If you have never been here, do give it a try!

Trattoria Mediterranea is the place to go for authentic Italian food. This family owned get has an outstanding menu, and Michele or Mimo will do anything to accommodate special requests. The vibe is warm and friendly and you can feel the pride the family and team have for the house. If your mom/grandmother is/was Italian this is your place…anything on the menu is excellent form the Capaccio to the Sunday sauce. The percitelli and rigatoni are home made, as well as the lasagna and the seafood dishes are all delicious!
