Traxx Restaurant and Traxx Bar are located inside beautiful, historic Union Station in Downtown Los Angeles. We are a semi-fine dining restaurant with a casual attitude and relaxed atmosphere. Our restaurant serves scratch made American Bistro dishes using local a local bakery and local ingredients. We offer seating on our concourse (located in front of the restaurant inside Union Station), the Dining Room, and on our outside Patio in the courtyard. We also serve Traxx Bar, located across the concourse inside Union Station at the main entrance. Traxx Bar hours are M-F 11:30-10pm with kitchen hours until 8pm and Sat & Sun 12-10pm with kitchen hours until 7pm.

Union Station has two lots off Alameda St. (Lots B and D) which charge $2 per 20 minutes or $14 for 24 hours (subject to change). There is also valet parking available. If lots B and D are full and valet is full, alternative parking can be found in Gateway Parking. Take Alameda Street to Cesar Chavez and go east to Vignes Street, turn into parking lot. Gateway Parking charges $2.00 for 20 minutes or $6.00 for 24 hours. We validate only for Lots B, D and Valet (up to 2.5 hours).

This place was awesome. The service was impeccable. I didn’t like the food choices. They seemed very travel like, foods. They had a couple extra “fancier” dishes, but a lot of it was hamburgers or sandwiches of that sort. I did like the heaters on the outside. It was nice to be eating alfresco when I was a little chilly. And just being able to eat in that historical building was pretty nice. Fun for a casual date.

Comfortable and casual (with a capital "C" for each). Absolutely loved the tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich. -- and the choice of jazz as ambience was well chosen.

This was my first time dining at this restaurant. It was a Holiday Celebration Lunch. My staff was impressed with the intimate setting, the variety of food selections, and the wine and alcohol offerings. The staff was expedient and friendly. I will effeminately return for other local occasions.

Underneath the great dome of LA’s Union station is a throwback restaurant from 100 years ago. Quiet and simple restaurant inside such an iconic building. Enjoy the American food and drinks.

I had a reservation for 8 for a business lunch. When I got to the restaurant, it was closed due to a special event. We ended up sitting in the bar across the station and the bartender took good care of us. A call that my reservation would not be honored would have been nice…

Traxx offers good value for the money in an historic setting amid the vaulted ceilings of LA’s Union Station. The companion bar across the way makes good cocktails. They are open 11 to 8 and Traxx is for lunch or an early dinner.

Traxx is listed on some sites as an "elegant restaurant" it is not. Has potential but is basically a quick bite type of situation. Menu is rather limited in fine food choices, and seating is that of a fast food joint. Location is great and service is pretty nice. Could be so much more.

Wonderful intimate space in Union Station. Diverse menu. We had Cobb Salad and the Grilled Cheese sandwich and Tomato Basil soup. All were excellent. Service was excellent

I love Traxx! Fine dining at Union station. We sat outside and had impossible burgers. Which were great. The patio seating was lovely and our server was kind and friendly.

When we arrived at 7pm which we had booked though open table the waiter said they were closed! When I said we had booked a table at 7pm he said ok and showed us to a table and it does state that the kitchen closes at 8pm The Mac & cheese was more Mac than cheese!
