   We have dined here several times and always had a great experience. It’s one of the few places that allows a reservation for a large party without having to reserve a special room/menu etc. We had a table for 16 on this occasion. Service is excellent, we never have to wait for anything! The food is always good and drinks are great and well priced. Troy is perfect for a casual lunch, romantic dinner, or a small party/celebration!

   This was our first time at Troy Mediterranean. The dining room had a very nice ambiance. The servers were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the falafel was delicious. I tried the sangria with a touch of amaretto and was pleasantly surprised by its richness and sweetness. We will definitely be back.

   We were traveling back from Wisconsin and decided to spend a night in Savanah. After spending an hour and a half revising reviews in the car we decided to try this as all the main seafood places were heavy on the fried and breaded side - not our style. The wine list is quite reasonable for a small location and we had a bottle of a nice Malbec as we started with some apps, baba ganoush, calamari (fried I know), and sizzling provolone. Baba ganoush had great flavor but a tad thin in texture, calamari was outstanding and loved the tahini sauce with it. The sizzling provolone was very nice and my buddy’s favorite. For mains I had a side house salad and the beef stew and my friend had the gyro sandwich. Both were excellent and with very nice flavor. I would have loved to try a desert but just feasted with my eyes and their great selection! Would definitely return, I wish there had been a scallop dish on the menu or local fresh fish option as a special.

   One person ordered the filet med-well; it was butterflied and very well done. The rice was dry. The chicken kabobs were very dry, and the only vegetable was zucchini; again, they were served with dry rice. The dessert case was pretty empty compared to the usual. The person who makes the desserts had been on vacation. A business should have a backup plan for this; why do the customers have to suffer from the experience?

   Two of our group had dined previously at Troy. The three newbies were excited and pleased with their meals. The portions were generous. The food delicious. Our server was knowledgeable, helpful, and there when you needed her. This was a delightful experience and we will be back!

   Quite honestly, this restaurant is a hidden gem! I'm so glad we found it! Christo, our server, and also the manager, was very helpful with the menu and appropriately attentive. The mezze platter was impressively fresh, tasty and well presented. The Greek Lemon Chicken Soup is some of the best I've ever had, with notes of tarragon and possibly fennel? We had to order some more to go! We had a side dish of gyro meat also, as an additional appetizer, which was fresh, tender, flavorful, good quality meat and not greasy! My husband ordered the lamb shank (fall off the bone amazing flavor) and I ordered moussaka which was light, fluffy and well balanced . Both were impressive. The fresh baked bread with dinner had a deliciously flavored butter on the side. We were too full for dessert, but based on the large number of take out orders for bakery items as we dined, we will have to save room during our next visit. I could go on, but you get the point! If you enjoy Mediterranean food, the price points are very reasonable, great value, and the food is incredible! Go....you will not be disappointed - you will return!

    I had lamb kabob. The portion of lamb was disproportonate to the rest of the plate. Only 1/2 slice of pita. I had to request more and the serve brought me pita wedges as if I was using them for hummus. The atmosphere was nice but I was unimpressed with the food overall.
