   We had a great experience Friday evening on 2/21/25. True Food kitchen appears to have had a change of management and staff (and for the better) since my past visits. The service from every server was friendly and professional , the food was hot and delicious and even the manager came to our table to see how we were doing. We both had the butternut squash soup and the grass fed burgers with salad (one kale and the other the regular side salad). I will definitely be going back.

   We went for valentines night and it was busy and perfect for what we wanted, which was a tasty and healthy meal. There were other couples next to us that were super nice. Our server was very good. We started with the hummus dish which is light and delicious. I had the Korean noodles dish and added salmon. The salmon was perfectly cooked and fresh, and I always love the Korean noodles. My husband had the salmon dinner and It was great.

   The food was excellent , particularly the meatloaf - best ever! Would have liked to have had a coffee refill, but apart from that, great restaurant!

   They didn’t have guacamole which seems negative considering how abundant avocados are right now. Our food wasn’t great. I ordered the spaghetti squash and it was mostly tomato and onions with very little squash to the ratio. It was like soup with a few strands of squash. My husband got the house burger and found it to be dry and not very flavorful. We used to love this place so it was a disappointing experience.

   I feel like there is luck of consistency lately. Portions are much smaller and incomplete. My panang curry had barely any rice and veggies . My husband’s lasagna was very small. The focaccia bread was super stale and cold. We got the remade one after our meal. We used to come to your restaurant twice a week and now it is becoming a gamble. Please check with the kitchen about the consistency of the dishes.

   Food came out cold. Didn’t get my food u til after everybody had finished eating. Small portions for $$$. Food not as tastey. This place , unfortunately, is not like it used to be.

    This used to be one of our favorite restaurants but unfortunately it’s been going downhill for about a year now. Tonight for example, we went for happy hour/dinner and there were just a lot of issues. First, we ordered the cauliflower appetizer and were told they were out of cauliflower. Given that the happy hour menu is limited to start with, this was disappointing especially since cauliflower is any easy ingredient to source. Second, the server brought two waters for a table of three and said she’d return with the third but didn’t very quickly. My mom ordered a glass of wine and the server brought an empty glass but never came back with the wine. When I caught her attention as she was walking past and asked about it, instead of just apologizing and going to get it, she told me it’s just her and the manager doing everything. No apology, and quite frankly not my problem. It was 4:30 so the restaurant wasn’t especially busy but perhaps they aren’t staffing properly. Still, it was evident that she simply forgot to go get it. Then the cup of soup I ordered came out with my meal instead of it being timed to arrive beforehand. The food was fine, but initially the restaurant had a really clean menu with many more vegetarian and vegan selections. Many of the better items were dropped entirely (like the chicken sausage pizza and burrito bowl and some of the better salads) and some have changed in how they are prepared. They now highlight an air-crisped chicken that I’ve tried twice and was soggy both times. It seems some of these changes started right after the chain was bought out but I don’t see any truly positive additions other than having a better choice of sides ( previously it was just kale salad or sweet potato hash). We’ve also noticed the servers aren’t as well trained as they used to be. On the visit before last, the server couldn’t answer questions about the menu and before that, the server told us we couldn’t use two gift cards in the same transaction.
