   Went for Valentine’s Day didn’t expect the great experience, service food was great not amazing but definitely over delicious

   We had to wait 25 minutes to get the table & then mediocre food came out after 1 hour.

   Our service was very mediocre, the food was tasteless. This was our second time here and will be our last. We have gone to true food in another state and the service and food quality was much better than this location in Newport .

   I understand it was Valentine’s day but it took an hour and a half to get my food. I was so disappointed. I’ve been to true foods many times in the past with my family but the service was horrible and the waitress kept saying “so sorry your food is taking so long” as well as “your food is coming next guys so sorry.”

   The turkey burger has to be revisited … the gluten free bun is as hard as a rock and the turkey paddy itself has become hard as if they were using frozen burgers The noise level was unreal …. I am a big fan of true food and have eaten at this chain more than 600 times. The turkey burger has taken a turn for the worse and I hope they figure it out

   Very good food with a healthy balance. Although we did indulge with the peanut butter desert that was very good.

   We have been going to TFK Newport Beach for many years. The quality of the food has definitely declined. Our meal was worse than mediocre. Our salad was drenched in dressing. Then we waited over 40 minutes for our entrees. The teriyake bowl tasted funny. I sent it back and got the curry bowl, which was supposed to have 3-4 different vegetables. It was 99% carrots with one snap pea in a runny curry sauce with some rice. My husband's hamburger bun (gluten-free) was hard and barely edible. We wanted the squash pie, but it was no longer being served. Their chocolate cake was dry and tasteless. We have noticed this decline over the last year or so. We are sorry to say we won't be returning.

   I haven’t been to True Food for a while. Always remembered it being good. Last night that was not the case. Kitchen was very slow. When food eventually came out, we were pretty unimpressed. We had the chicken bites appetizer. It was over cooked. The kids GF pizza was terrible. Does not compare to the crust served before. Tasteless and hard as cardboard. We all tried it and sent it back immediately. Kids chicken nuggets were not crispy at all. The Korean bowl was ok. I ordered the salmon. It was overcooked and the wild rice was crunchy. Large chunks of burned bits. The GF lasagna seemed to go over well. That’s about it unfortunately. Really disappointing as we were there for a celebratory dinner as well. Not eager to return after our experience last night. We did share our experience with the server. He seemed to be trying his best.

    My wife and I have literally been there 50 times over the last two years. It continues to slowly decline. I’m afraid the end is near. We consistently are having to send food back that isn’t prepared appropriately or just totally wrong. It’s always cold inside and the menu is getting worse.
