Bringing its hallmark level of quality and service to an urban location, Uchi Houston made its debut in 2012 in the former historic Felix space on Westheimer. Melding culinary innovation with an approachable vibe, the menu features items culled from both Uchi and Uchiko in Austin, along with signature seasonal items created by our Chef team.     Love Uchi, we went with friends for our anniversary and it was such a special dining experience. We all got the 10 course omakase, this is our second time doing this and it does not disappoint. Each time was completely different and unexpected. The sushi and fish are extremely high quality, one of my favorite places to get sushi.

    Excellent crudo, the truffle scallop, if very small portion. Somewhat annoying that an item, the pork belly, on the Social Hour menu was unavailable, yet available at regular price. Nevertheless it was delicious. Softshell crab roll was bland. Very attentive service.

    Outstanding Fine Dining Vegan Experience! We had the tasting menu and it was fantastic. Every course was good and a couple were superb. The thinly sliced oyster mushrooms with ponzu sauce and the Indonesian soup were our favorites, though it was hard to choose. The only complaint is that we were too full to eat the fabulous deserts. Highest recommendation!

    Oh Yve! Dinner was just as good as Aaron Pierre…. that’s Mufasa!! Thank you! Dining at Uchi Houston was an unforgettable experience, thanks to our amazing server, Yve! Her warm and attentive service elevated our evening, making every moment special. The food was a feast for both the eyes and the palate – the spicy edamame was the perfect start, the Biendo roll was bursting with flavor, and the Uchi salad was a refreshing, colorful masterpiece. Every bite was a celebration of taste and presentation. Yve’s expertise and kindness made our fantastic dinner truly shine. Can’t wait to come back! Oh and bring the key lime dessert back please!!!!! ByEeeeee.

    Always have such a great time here! Anthony our server was outstanding and the food was excellent. However, I am extremely disappointed about they removed foie gras from the menu and empowered those PETA lunatics. Might go somewhere else for my fix next time….

    Everything was absolutely fantastic. The chef selection of nigiri was perfect! I loved the mushroom rice it had so much flavor and depth to it. The hot stone wagyu was perfect. The edamame was a great appetizer as well. I will definitely be coming back
