Ulele (pronounced you-lay-lee) celebrates the vibrant fusion of ingredients from Florida waters and land once home to many Native Americans, including the legendary young princess Ulele.

Located on the Hillsborough River in Tampa Heights, 400 yards from the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. Indoor and outdoor waterfront dining. Lunch and dinner daily. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Featuring intricately flavored, visually appealing dishes prepared on our 10' round barbacoa grill.

Ulele operates in the lovingly re-imagined 1903 Tampa Heights Water Works building, which also includes its Ulele Spring Brewery to provide a number of craft beers on tap. Next door to Water Works Park.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the indoor dining rooms.

    The food is always great at Ulele! We got the table I was hoping for and had a lovely evening celebrating Christmas with our sons. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Tampa.

    Need to like spicy food - even the food that was told it was mild favor, was incorrect. Sitting outside was the best part of this restaurant but the outside chairs are NOT made for someone who has back problems, too! Service was very good and tried their best to make the food taste better to our mild/sweet taste buds. Very much appreciated.

    We went for Christmas Eve lunch with family made reservations weeks ahead of time we went with the two young children they loved the food they ordered. Our order was delicious. Surprise was just right. The service was supreme.

    Ulele is such a staple in Tampa. Our server, Lennon was amazing. Dinner & dessert was as excellent, as always!

    Our wait staff was great. Savana was excellent! Good recommendations, friendly and attentive! We have a family member who eats vegetarian and he loved the stuffed portobello. Our meals were delicious. Outdoor ambience was perfect. Could not have been better. Shared ice cream dessert of coconut and espresso chocolate was wonderful! Thank you for such a lovely holiday dining experience!
