   I don’t mind spending a lot of $ on a great meal, especially sushi but this was not worth it at all. Soup, salad, thin slices of sashimi, 1 course of bang bang shrimp ( which you can get anywhere now) & sushi sized cod (cheap fish) & 2 drinks each for almost $245 without tip. No ginger, wasabi or rice served until the last course. We were hungry an hour later. The floor tables were cool & server was nice but told us her back & knees hurt from bending so we felt bad each time she stooped to serve us or take plates. Atmosphere is nice but I wouldn’t go back.

   If you’ve never been to an omakase before and you are with someone who is new to raw fish, this is a good decent intro spot.

   UMI is a gem. Every bite was sensational. And our server, Barry, was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The only thing we found a bit off was the background music, but barely so.

   The food was good but the 11 course meal was mainly sashimi and I like rolls and nigiri more. The price is super high for the value in my opinion and a lot of other places that I prefer. Food was good but not worth the money in my opinion.
