Mark our waiter was amazing , best I have ever had. The manager was rude and abruptly felt the need to tackle me regarding a tip he didn’t think I paid . Was very embarrassing. He should have consulted the waiter first.

Lovely evening. Service was friendly, professional, helpful, and quick. The restaurant is very pretty, the banquets are clean and comfortable. Food was delicious.

This is something I have wanted to do since I started watching, Restaurant Stakeout, when Willie Jack Degal said, "they have the best service in the world." Everyone was, "respectful," however, as we entered, the hostesses were not "over" the top. Perhaps we were underdressed. I had high expectations. I had made the reservation back in June. The maitre d was very personable and did ask what brought us there. I explained my daughter had always wanted to visit Kleinfelds and see the Rockefeller Christmas tree. The waitress was a bit difficult to understand and seemed a bit rushed. Two of us ordered a mango margarita but received an original margarita, which we settled with. For appetizers we ordered the charred octopus which was delicious and the Jackafellar, well, lets just say the goat cheese should be replaced with another cheese or crumble. The steaks were tender but under seasoned. Definitely can share the baked potatoes(need seasoning and lots of butter) and wedge salad, which were huge! Though pricey, which we were anticipating, it was a neat experience. Not the, Pink House's food or service like we enjoyed in Savannah and other restaurants but overall, was nice. We had a good time.

We waited too long to be seated, the maitre d' wasn't doing his job, it took 20 minutes to get our cocktails, and the cherry on the cake... the temperature for the filet mignon was wrong!! We have been here before but this time was our last!

We have dined at Uncle Jack’s a few times over the years, but this time our steaks were undercooked and had to be ‘re-cooked’ twice to get it closer to how we had ordered. Service was very good, but I was surprised that a steak house would have trouble with their main entrees.

In my >42 of working in NYC I’ve been in virtually every steakhouse many times, including Uncle Jacks. I can’t say what went wrong in the kitchen today but this was definitively, absolutely, bar far the worst steak I’ve ever had in any steakhouse. Over cooked, cold and completely bereft of flavor. One can just not justify the cost relative to the result. Sorry, but some number of people really took their eye off the ball tonight.

Uncle Jack's is a great place to go before the New York Rangers game. The porterhouse steak for two was amazing. Three of us shared it along with creamed spinach and mac and cheese that I highly recommend.

Great place to eat with your family or to have a business lunch while at the Jacob Javits center. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. If you are going thee for lunch you can’t go wrong with the French Dip or one of their Uncle Jacks burgers. You won’t be disappointed.
