   The food was great! I got shrimp and grits! My mother got fish and chips. We both had monkey bread as an appetizer! It was Very Good! My drink the Matriach I think it was called, tasted like grape fruit. I wasn’t the biggest fan of it but it wasn’t terrible. My mother had a mojito with No Mint and in my 41 years, I have never seen such. It was a little disappointing. The decor is Great! Very clean and modern with homey touches like big plush chairs to eat in. There was an African American guy with beautiful red n blue finger nail polish collecting dishes, and he was Exceptionally nice, even taking pictures for my mom and I outside. My actual waiter was a Caucasian female with a low cut. It was Mothers Day. She/They barely greeted my mom and I, did not check on us after we received our food, and was in general not very personable. It seemed like she did not want to be there, she did not smile, my mother was having a Great Mother’s Day and her attitude took away from it. I would Definitely go back but I’d never take her as a waitress. I’m not sure why she is even employed there.

   We celebrated Mother's day early at 8am as it was best our us., service was excellent, food was delicious and they did not rush us.. try the cheddar biscuits and the strawberry French toast. Very nice morning.

   I've had numerous meals here. I held a private party in their private dining space before and never had a problem. This most recent lunch was horrible. There was one person ahead of us, and it took over 8 minutes for a hostess to come over and seat us. We sat for 15 minutes at our table without anyone coming over to us to offer water or a drink. Everyone else got water upon being seated. It then took another 15 minutes for us to flag someone down to take our order and then once we finally did, the "server" couldn't put orders in on her own. She finally took our order and we never got our soda and iced tea. We had to ask for it again and the servers argued as to who was responsible for our table. NO ONE EVER CAME OVER TO US. Once they brought the drinks to our table, no ice. Not a single piece of ice. The soda was flat. The food was not great today and the service was non-existent. I was very surprised that this is how our meal went. We had to flag down the hostess to get our check. Terrible service. Done eating here.

   My husband and I agree that this ranks among the best dinners we have ever had -- and we ate at Charlie Trotter's in Chicago in the 1990s. From start to finish, the meal was perfectly satisfying. The atmosphere was relaxed, visually attractive, with just enough activity to be vibrant but not so much as to be noisy or oppressive. It's a spacious restaurant that manages to create an intimate mood. The cocktails were superb, as were the wine choices. In every dish, from appetizers to main course to dessert, the balance of flavors and the visual presentation of the dishes was pleasing. As a starter, we were offered warm, fluffy cornbread served straight from the oven - light, sweet, and soothing. The scallops were cooked perfectly, the carrot ginger soup had a lovely blend of mildly sweet and savory. Our steaks were cooked just right, the bearnaise and au poivre sauces were smooth and savory, and the twice baked fingerling potato tart was a tasty work of art. The service was outstanding. Water was refilled just frequently enough, the table was cleaned between each course, multiple people checked in with us periodically, and the server offered excellent recommendations. It was the kind of dinner where everything went right and we left feeling pampered. We will definitely eat here again.

   My very first experience at Urban Farmer and all I can say was the food was amazing. I can’t wait to visit again. Great customer service, friendly and attentive staff. It was an overall great experience!

   This is a lovely place to have lunch with friends! The outside seating is perfect, sitting on Ben Franklin Parkway. And the lady who was our server could not have been more pleasant and accommodating!

    Brunch was great!! What stood out for us on this second day of dining at the restaurant was the waitress, Michelle. She was attentive and personable.
