Valenza is a cozy, upscale Italian eatery in Brookhaven. It takes its name from a small village in the Piedmonte region of Northern Italy. Valenza is well known throughout the world for its artisan jewelry manufacturing which has earned it the nickname “city of gold”. The cuisine at VALENZA is inspired by the diverse culture of Northern Italy. Executive Chef Matt Swickerath’s focus is on classic and modern cooking methods using fresh seasonal and local ingredients to create a classic Italian menu with an updated culinary touch. The menu features a variety of antipasti, pasta, risotto and Italian entrees. Valenza has the heart and spirit of a cozy and warm Italian village café in an upscale setting. The dining room features venetian plastered walls with rustic oak and pine woods. Experience the warmth and elegance of Valenza when dining under the antique European candle chandeliers. Valenza offers a wonderful private dining room with seating for 30 guests.

We went on Valentines Day for the prefix menu so my review might be a little skewed. It was $100/plate but food was delicious! We ordered the tuna crudo and beef cheek cavatelli pasta. The meal also came with focaccia bread and dessert. However, our waiter had absolutely no personality and the staff seemed eager to move our dinner along quickly which of course we wanted to linger a bit. The restaurant was definitely a well oiled machine that night and I’m sure they did really well. Just dampened the romantic mood. We thought the drinks were priced a bit high but again we were dining on Valentines Day. We will give it another shot on a normal weekend evening. Hopefully the vibe and the staff will be a little more relaxed next time and our bill won’t be as large 😜

I went there with my wife for Valentines Day Dinner, we were served a 3 course meal. The Mussels appetizer great, I did care for the salad. The Scallops and Beef Cheeks was good, I am not a fan of Risoto, so I did not like the pairing with the scallops but it was a fixed menu so I could not swap it out. The deserts we horrible, I had the cheesecake and my wife had some kinda wafer and Ice Cream.

This was our first time at Valenza and it was such a treat. Everything was delicious and we felt that the food and dessert especially lived up to the price point. I'd highly recommend coming for a date night or special occasion.

Valenza never disappoints! Our first stop when visiting Atlanta. The food is always delicious and perfectly prepared. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable about everything from their amazing wine selections to the most divine desserts. The saltimboca is incredible and our all time favorite. Service was exceptional. Thank you for a memorable experience!
