   The new(ish) menu at VeeVee is outstanding. A variety of dishes, suitable for sharing. All prepared perfectly. Charred cabbage was a highlight, also the ribs, and the chicken wings were savory and scrumptious. Highly highly recommended!

   Nice selection of beer and wine. Started with the yucca which was AMAZiNG. The kale caesar salad was very good but I wish the Birria tacos were better but yellow door wins out here. Overall very good and will definitely be back!

   Vee Vee has been a fixture for high quality, high value neighborhood dining in JP for many years. This is now my third visit to the Black Cat pop up and I have been consistently wowed each time. It was great to have a place to take a GF family member with so many fantastic menu options.

   My husband and I went with our grown son and sat inside the very welcoming room. We're longtime VV customers and we all loved the new and inventive Black Cat menu. Everything was excellent: empanada, street corn, cucumber/tomato salad, birria beef tacos, red snapper, and fried rice. Plus the prices are extremely reasonable for the quality and experience. We'll be back!

   Vee Vee Black Cat is an absolute gem! I’ve always been on the hunt for great food in Boston/JP, and finally, I’ve found my new go-to spot. The yuca fries are simply sublime – crispy on the outside, perfectly tender on the inside, and the sauce? It’s out of this world, truly a flavor explosion. The flank steak was cooked to perfection, rich and juicy, and the red snapper was an absolute standout – served in a spicy coconut broth that was both rich and vibrant. The combination of the fresh, tender fish with the warm, aromatic broth created a dish bursting with bold flavors and comforting heat. Every bite was a delightful experience! Not only was the food outstanding, but it was also very reasonably priced, making the experience even better. To top it all off, our waiter was fun, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful, elevating the entire dining experience. If you're looking for a place that nails it on both food and atmosphere, Vee Vee Black Cat is where you need to be!

    We loved the Black Cat at Vee Vee. The food was fabulous, the service perfect and the restaurant is pleasantly quiet. We hope to be back.
