   Service was terribly slow. A few instances, the waitress said she be back & bring appetizer plates or drinks, & never did. Sea bass was overdone.

   We were celebrating a birthday and never felt rushed. Our food was excellent and the service was exceptional. This is one of my favorite local restaurants!

   We live down in San Clemente and travel here for our son and his family. We try to hit Ventana Grill every trip up there. The food is excellent, the setting above the ocean is to die for and the service is awesome.

    Have visited Ventana many times over the past few years. Ambience was great. Disappointed in the menu change. We always looked forward to the Halibut fish and chips. To our dismay the fish was cod. It was a smaller portion and rubbery. What a disappointment.the warm tortillas were served with flavored butter instead of the wonderful salsas. Also missing was the coconut halibut. No longer our to go place.
