   Via Veneto is always a wonderful time with great food and great staff. I usually get the lobster spaghetti, but this time I got the carbonara and it was amazing.

   We waited for an hour and 30 minutes for our food and it was inedible. When we tried to get the manager to talk to us the waiter said no and argued that the food was not cold. Ridiculous.

   The food, ambience and service was all great. The biggest factor to my rating is that it took a very long time to order and for our food. It might be part of their experience to encourage a laid back and slow dinner but we didn’t get our meals until 2 hours after we sat down. Otherwise everything was great and food was delicious.

   Wonderful as always. Our server was not very friendly. He never smiled . It was New Years Eve! He needed to lighten up . Take the day off if he was that unhappy.

   It was a delicious meal with wonderful service, except for one minor matter (our tap water was not refilled at all during our meal). Yes, it is quite expensive but sometimes a good meal is worth the splurge. The bread was fantastic as was the olive oil accompanying it. The Prosecco was very good. Our appetizers were very special — I had the bone marrow and my husband had scallops — both were among many specials offered tonight. The tomato sauce on my pasta was among the best I have ever tasted — and I come from an Italian family and have traveled to Italy multiple times. The tartuffo affogato was so good I’m not sure I can ever order one anywhere else. Is $70 a lot of money for a piece of fish? Yes it is. I can’t mislead anyone on that but quality and selection come with a price tag. If you feel like it’s time for an excellent meal then by all means treat yourself to an evening there. Your wallet will be lighter but your stomach will thank you.

   Ambiance is very nice, service good, but food could be better. When you ask for a glass of the House Cabernet you expect a price for the wine which is comparable with other restaurants of the same category and not with a price of $30.00 per glass when the check come. This alone will prevent me from recommend Via Veneto.

    Loved everything about this restaurant. We have always had a terrific meal here and leave very content. Highly recommend.
