Short ribs are the best ever. So tender and flavorful you can cut them with a fork. Tried the Thai mussels for the first time. Great sauce.

We had never been to the restaurant before. We were seated on time in a corner spot with water view which was nice. The appetizers were much larger than expected. Truffle fries really good and hot. Sushi roll not bad but perhaps too much rice vs fish. Salads well prepared. Wife had seafood risotto with shrimp and scallops which was quite good. I had pork chops which were tender and juicy. Gave us plenty of time between courses. Never felt rushed. Not big eaters so took half our entrees home for later. Will be back.

We had another wonderful dining experience at Walloon Lake Inn last night. The butternut squash soup was amazing. The pork chop was perfectly prepared. My wife said the whitefish was the best she has had in Northern Michigan. The service was great.

It was the worst whitefish I have ever experienced! In fact, I’m not even sure that it was whitefish! And the potatoes had to have come from a frozen bag purchased from COSTCO! Both of our meals were a total rip-off given the price that we paid and I will share that fact so that hopefully no one else will have the same experience! The only thing that was a definite positive was our waiter!

Love the new fall menu. The salad and chicken Marsala were excellent. Jody was our server. She was efficient and friendly, but not overbearing. Really a delightful evening.
