Did not honor time reservation time that was booked several weeks on advance. We were told they were over booked. Table they put us at was noisy by bar and too large for party of six. Conversation not easy at this picnic table. Otherwise, it was a lovey, hopping restaurant. I will try again in the future Food vert delicious. Out door table was nice.

It’s my husband’s favourite restaurant. He always orders the seafood gumbo. Nice to be able to eat outdoors with a water view.

Be sure to book an inside table in airconditioning this time of year. Even though Open Table says that all reservations are inside, the restaurant doesn't know that. They accomodated us but it took some persuasion.

The Waterway Cafe has great water views. Service is adequate and food is mediocre, nothing special or nothing I would return for. I visit here once a year when in the area. The views are their saving grace.
