We went on Christmas day for a family meal while visiting NYC. From the time we entered until we left the staff was exceptional. The food was plentiful and very good. Very pleased with our decision to eat here for our holiday meal.

Bread was cold and a bit tough. The bun was good though but also cold. Caesar salad was good light flavor, not exactly what i expected but just right to prep for mains. Ribeye was huge arrived over rested i think. It was not even hot, had to ask to warm it up a bit. Cut was really thick, but flavor profile was mild beefy, although seared well, needs more umami i think. Service was great though, place is nice and cozy.

The wait staff is attentive and wonderful. This was the third time selecting this restaurant for a celebration. We all love the service, seating and food. The best experience that we had amongst our favorite restaurants in NYC. I highly recommend you try. You won’t be disappointed

We were a party of 4 and we had a very enjoyable time with the porterhouse steaks, prawn cocktails, mashed potatoes, a vegetable platter, and a half-order of oysters on a half shell. All were delicious. Kudos to the staff for making our dining experience an unforgetable one. After such paying such an hefty bill, my only suggestion for improvement is directed at the size of the oysters. I wish the had been bigger and more plump. The ones served were small and quite thin. Everthing else was perfect.

The restaurant is gorgeous. The food and service were absolutely amazing. The prices are high but portions are huge. You definitely do not want to over order here. We (2 people) had 1 entree filet (12 oz), 1 entree ribeye (24 oz) and two sides (German potatoes and onion rings). That amount of food could easily have fed four people or more. We come to NYC once or twice a year and try a different steakhouse each time. Wolfgang’s is the best we have tried to date.
