   Fabulous food - great service. Quite noisy and we were downstairs and was quite dark. The food was not cheap but came out at £60 per head which was reasonable for such delicious food.

   As returning guests, we had looked forward to another evening at Yauatcha. This visit, however, differed from our previous experiences. The basement level seating, while novel, made reading menus challenging in the dim lighting. Although our server remained polite throughout the meal, we would have appreciated more guidance on the menu selections, particularly given the mixed quality of the dishes we received. The dim sum offerings still impressed, but the overall experience no longer justified the premium pricing. While first-time diners may find the atmosphere engaging, we will likely explore other options for Chinese cuisine in the future.

   Excellent service and food, it is pricey with smaller portions, however this could be expected of a restaurant of this quality, worth it.

   A long time since my last visit, but please to see that my favourites are as good as ever. Can’t beat the venison puff and prawn and beancurd cheung fung.

   I have been here over 10/15 times in the last 10 years, one of the best Asian restaurants in London. However this time there were some negative notes. First of all, the A/C in the dining room downstairs, it was quite cold (most people were covering up during dinner). Second, I would always order the fried chili squid, however this time we found them a bit chewy as they were cut larger than usual. All other dishes and service was excellent. Overall, a bit disappointed but still had nice evening

   We booked Yauatcha for a Birthday meal, returning after having been here years ago. I didn’t realise they had lost their Michelin star, but it was clear to see why. It had the feel of a Wagamama or other chain fast food restaurant, diners crammed in, very noisy and not a very relaxing or enjoyable experience. The food however was amazing, incredibly tasty, even if they did forget one of our main courses. When I pointed out the incorrect extra starter ( the waiter bought 3 instead of 2 starters) the waiter, started at me in silence and took it away without a word?! In the end we had a starter, ended up sharing a main course and then just gave up and left. Won’t come back and wouldn’t recommend.
